Our Staff
Jason Myers is a board-certified orthopedic physical therapist with over a decade of experience. He is a Marine Corps veteran and graduate of the Spanish Language program at Monterey's Defense Language Institute.
He recieved his undergraduate degree (cum luade) in Human Performance from San Jose State University. He earned his Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the UCSF/SFSU Graduate program. He was awarded the Graduate Student Distinguished Achievement Award from SFSU upon graduation. Jason presented his research on lumbar stabilization and exercise at the Combined Sections meeting of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Jason has consulted with companies such as PG&E, Fresh Express and Western Growers, providing ergonomic assessment and training. He also trained high school and college athletes as well as a Para-Olympic bronze medalist. He enjoys working with all ages and specializes in the hands-on treatment of sports, auto and work-related injuries.
Kris Myers is the office manager for Myers Physical Therapy and the wife of Jason, the owner. She has a BA in Liberal Arts from CSUMB and was a member of the first graduating class at the university. She has worked as the Accounting Manager at Embassy Suites on Monterey Bay and most recently worked in the accounting department at the Monterey County Sheriff's Department. Now, she oversees all aspects of patient care operations and billing. She's also a full-time mom to their three children.
